Creating and defining User Groups

Step 1: Go to the SETTINGS module and then click on User Groups in the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Click on New if you would like to create a new User Group.

Step 3: Enter a Name for the User Group. You can now set up the rights you would like to give to this User Group. Take your time to analyze what exactly you want each User Group to do in Erply.

Note: Setting all to blank will cause the Icon to disappear when members of this User Group login.

Step 4: Click Save at the top after you have made and reviewed your changes.

Creating an Employee and Creating User Login Credentials.

Step 1: Go to SETTINGS module and click on the + next to Employee to create a new employee.

Step 2: Enter the necessary information regarding the employee such as First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number ...etc.

Step 3: Click Save.

Step 4: Click on Create User Account that has now appeared in the Quick Nav Bar at the bottom of the page.

Step 5: Fill in the necessary information such as giving them a Username, Password, associating them to a User Group, selecting the Location...etc. You also can click and set up some User rights on this card.

Note: Checking multiple location boxes will give the user access to login and access the selected locations.

Step 6: Click Save. Now the Employee and User are defined.
